About Us

image_1772013521460.jpgNebulabio is an antibody discovery and engineering team specialized in isolating and cloning antigen-specific monoclonal antibodies directly from single B cells. By integrating high-parameter flow cytometry, microfluidic single-cell handling, and single-cell V(D)J sequencing with recombinant expression and analytical validation, we deliver sequence-defined antibodies with native heavy–light chain pairing and traceable documentation. This service supports antibody discovery programs that require repertoire-faithful binders, clear clonal lineage records, and standardized downstream verification.

Nebulabio Single B Cell Sorting Platform

The platform provides direct access to native B cell repertoires by isolating individual antigen-binding cells from immunized, vaccinated, convalescent, or engineered donors. Fluorescent antigen probes and multi-parameter phenotyping enable selection of defined B cell subsets, while single-cell sequencing recovers paired variable regions that are then reconstituted as recombinant antibodies in configured formats. The workflow can accommodate memory B cell–focused strategies, plasmablast enrichment, and hybridoma rescue when project-defined, with downstream expression in mammalian systems for consistent molecular assembly.

Principle of Single B Cell Sorting

Single B cell sorting is a repertoire-faithful antibody discovery route that preserves native heavy–light chain pairing at the level of individual antigen-binding cells. Antigen-specific cells are identified using labeled probes combined with phenotypic markers and isolated as single cells under controlled conditions. Immunoglobulin variable regions are recovered from each cell and reconstructed as recombinant antibodies, yielding monoclonals that reflect in vivo affinity maturation and immune selection. This approach enables rapid recovery of sequence-defined binders to conformational antigens and complex targets while maintaining a clear clone-to-phenotype record.
