Technical Introduction to Protein Production, Purification, and Synthesis

 A. Recombinant Protein Production & Purification 

This is our core service for producing proteins encoded by a DNA sequence.

  1. Construct Design & Vector Engineering: Your gene is codon-optimized for the chosen host and cloned into an expression vector. We strategically incorporate tags (His, GST, Fc, SUMO) to aid solubility, detection, and purification.

  2. Expression Screening & Optimization: We perform small-scale expression trials to identify the best construct and conditions (temperature, inducer, media) for maximizing soluble yield.

  3. Scale-Up Production: The optimized protocol is scaled in shake flasks or bioreactors under controlled conditions (pH, O₂, feeding).

  4. Purification Pipeline:

  • Capture: Affinity chromatography (e.g., IMAC for His-tag, Protein A for Fc-fusions) isolates the target.

  • Tag Cleavage: Removal of fusion tags using specific proteases (e.g., TEV, HRV 3C).
